Description: Shilt Hut trek is rather a moderate to easy trek which has spectacular scenic beauty involved. Bird lovers can spot many exquisite species of birds like the colourful Western Tragopan & Monal.
On reaching shilt a vast meadow awaits us wrapping the earth like a natural carpet. Here, is, where we can spectate the mighty mountains in their full demeanour. The highest can reach upto 5000m.
Another interesting fact about the area is that it was used by shepherds before the creation of GHNP in the year 2000. Now, it has scanty human interaction letting you view the nature at it’s best. The hiker in you must try it.
